RIP Sir Henry Cooper – a true gentleman, hero and role model from a bygone era when sporting legends achieved greatness that will live forever.

For those of us too young to remember this was the fourth round of Cooper’s most famous fight against Muhammad Ali (then still called Cassius Clay) – when Ali was literally saved by the bell after being floored by ‘Enry’s ‘Ammer’. . .

No British boxer has ever been more loved than Sir Henry – the only fighter ever to be knighted and a beautiful human being – who has sadly died two days short of his 77th birthday.
